Richardson House

Glen Ridge, NJ   ca 1941

The Richardson House is a rare example of Wright’s Usonian houses based on a hexagon unit module. It was constructed of brick, cypress, concrete mat and glass. Tarantino Architect was commissioned by the current owners to master plan a major restoration, which included the reconstruction of the kitchen as intended, as well as the replacement of the radiant heat system, concrete mat, membrane roof, soffit and fascia, and the design and construction of an entry gate.
